Military Families
Tom Dekunder Middle School proudly supports our military families, whether active duty or former members of the military, reserves, or guard, we are proud of the diverse experiences our military-connected families bring to our community.

Honoring Service. Remembering Sacrifice.
Marion ISD proudly hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony in tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation. This special event brought together students, staff, families, and community members to recognize the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our veterans. Through moments of reflection, student participation, and heartfelt appreciation, the ceremony serves as a meaningful reminder of the freedoms we enjoy because of those who answered the call to serve. We are honored to celebrate and support our military-connected community today and every day.
Celebrating Strength, Service, and Our Military Kids
In honor of the Month of the Military Child, Marion ISD campuses came together to recognize and celebrate the resilience and sacrifice of our military-connected students. Throughout the month, campuses participated in themed dress-up days, creating a fun and meaningful way to show support and appreciation.
From purple pride to patriotic spirit, each day served as a reminder that military children play an important role in the strength of our nation. Their courage, adaptability, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
Marion ISD is proud to stand alongside our military families and celebrate the incredible students who serve in their own way every day.
